Most of Tree Talk Plus’ programmes involve support towards production, planting and growing of trees. The establishment of tree nurseries starts with sourcing of tree seed. We have trained seed collectors across Uganda. The seed collectors provide genuine quality of different types of indigenous and exotic commercial tree seed for germinating in our tree nurseries. Our tree nurseries support communities with free tree seedlings. The major seedlings germinated in our nurseries are indigenous fast growing varieties and exotics for agro-forestry which include Grevillea robusta and Terminalia superba. The preference is normally exotic fast growing trees like eucalyptus and pine, TTP does not provide these for free.
