Through implementation of agroforestry practices with communities, Tree Talk Plus promotes ecologically sound farming practices that enhance the conservation of farmland and well as sustaining production. TTP promotes the growing of mainly indigenous agroforestry trees including Maesopsis eminii and Albizia coriaria. We over time have supported farmers with free tree seedlings to integrate these agroforestry species under both seasonal and perennial crops as a climate agriculture practice. Communities in northern Uganda and Central Uganda which have adopted these technologies have report an increase in yields of produce and less loss during prolonged droughts as well as conducive environment around their homes.
