Tree Talk Plus provides free tree seed and technical support to community members wishing to establish small woodlots. In our national tree seed programme, we have been providing free training and seed support to youth groups and Community Based Organisations to start tree nurseries and distribute the resultant seedlings amongst their groups. This support has led to the development of over 15 community nurseries with capacity to produce 30,000 – 100,000 tree seedlings per season. The major challenge to these nurseries is the lack of continuous supply of seed sources.
