ttp-slide04Schools are centres of learning and knowledge transfer. Our work aims at inspiring and improving conservation education within schools opportunities and helping schools develop infrastructure that enables practical teaching and learning of key aspects in eco-enterprises including tree nursery development and tree seedlings raising, establishment of school woodlots to create a cool learning environment and advocating for diversification of the primary school curricula to include conservation education, climate and weather studies and conservation messages. For schools in our priority landscapes, we design information intended to develop the capacity of teachers to pass on information and practices that aim to change the behavior of the community for generations through providing supplemental training to teachers and pupils to ensure that such critical landscapes issues are solved over time.
